Has there been any confirmation on 'C' in Caitlyn's lore?

I think it could be Camille, but im not sure. Riot could have just completely forgotten about 'C' for all I know.

Caitlyns new lore changed Cs "background"(at least the little things that we had about him/her).

C isn't a simple thief anymore,but seems to be more like a crime boss who hired some guys to kidnap caitlyns parents. Caitlyn found and rescued her parents,but the kidnappers themselves didn't know who C really was.

Wasn't it confirmed as TFate in the Burning Tides event? Seem to remember reading that. He definitely did some big heist in Piltover or something.

He probably did, C is a crime boss(at least that's what's been gathered from current lore) in piltover so it makes sense.

The sad part is I'm starting to think that the lore is slowly dying out , all the new champion story-lines are just randomly branching out , none of them are actually giving direction to the progress of Runeterra and league is stuck in time........ What happened to the darkins ? Where is Reginald Ashram ? Maybe Riot should introduce game modes which build and expand the current lore and are focused on story telling , you don't just main a champion because you like their kits , its their intriguing backstories and personalities that matter more

Maining a champ if they have a good kit is for the try hards , most player just play a champion because they like their personality

I personally really love champion's like Jhin's, Caitlyn's, and Ashe's lore. Which leads me to play them a lot.

What I personally liked was the Zed/Noc and Jarvan/Le Blanc theories showcased by Redmercy , now he just makes dumbass gameplay vids tho . Also the Darkins were really interesting but they never revealed all of them

i also really want to know more about the Ashe, Lissandra, Sejuani lore. Like does Lissandra do anything with the watchers? Its just things like that that i wish riot would pay attention to.

That was a post only made popular because at the time the community had an intense mistrust towards Riot's lore team (thank god that's not the case anymore). By a user who has gone down as these boards most fanatic spam poster and it's 2 years ancient.

While he didn't receive an updated lore,he did get a short story from which we know that appearantly he is a wandering warrior,challenging others in search for worthy opponents, and that he seems to be from icathia and doesn't even know anymore how he looks underneath his cloak himself. And that is actually more info about him than what we had before,where his origin was just a mystery and people assumed he might be ashram,but we simply had no idea if that is true or not. http://universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_GB/story/jax-color-story/

Lore doesn't make money, unfortunately. So it's not even close to a priority for Riot.

It indirectly does , hooking the players to a game is what the company wants , giving them several options to do so will only help them including skin purchases

Maybe in an MMO or a B2P game. But League? No. The story is about as important as it is in Counterstrike or any other big money esports game. They lose money by paying writers, so they don't.

Writing 10 paragraphs once every 3 months for a champion is hardly lore. They have one or two devs (not writers by trade, but someone on the champ team) write up stories when they release a champion (Riot used to have a lore team, but they fired them all for greed's sake). They didn't hire any new artists or writers, they have the bare minimum they can get away with.

If they do actually have a lore team, it's a skeleton of a skeleton crew, at max three people, and they do dev work other than writing so that Riot is getting their money's worth out of paying them.

I know of 6+ main writers off the top of my head, whose main purpose and job descriptions are all as "Narrative Writer."

Alright, so then they have writers for some project other than League (which they do have several of). If you have 6+ people for writing, and the only lore we get is the equivelant of 3-4 high school essays every half year, then that's kind of sad.

Im sorry, but let me get this straight... you think that 3-4 high school essays (~20 pages worth of writing based on the standard 5-page essay) is produced every 6 months? During Camille's release and Warwicks update, we got updated stories on about 10 champions across Zaun and Piltover, plus Warwick and Camille themselves. And Camille not only got 2 separate stories, but a comic strip as well. Even if each of those stories were 2 pages long, which they definitely weren't, that would still be more than you're describing at the moment. So clearly you're either not good at math, or you're impatient; I'm leaning towards the latter because I don't like to assume people are unintelligent.
