Pantheon VU Discussion. IronStylus Bait

IronStylus, I gotta say, I think it would be better to give Pantheon a full blown VU like Trist and Karthus.

He has a lot of potential to be so much more, and an MTU like Alistar and Maokai would make him very much a missed opportunity.

He can be the one to lead the charge in fleshing out Mt. Targon.

VISUALS

  • Badass armor
  • Some pants and proper footwear (boots)
  • Original helmet designs
  • Cool shield designs. Maybe scale down the size so it wont cover too much of his cool armored figure
  • Have the spear actually look like a relic weapon to be feared and impress visually (he's got some heavy competition with Nidalee, Kalista, and Azir)

VOICE OVER

  • Current voice sounds just so... forced. So unoriginal. I nominate Steve Blum. He's amazing
  • New lines that give insights to MT. Targon and the Rakkor
  • New lines that have Pantheon say badass stuff in general
  • Interactions with, not only Diana and Leona, but also some other warriors that might grab Pantheon's attention

ANIMATIONS

  • His current auto-attacks look so weak. Lets make his attacks look more vicious and styled. Basically have him look like the amazing fighter he is suppose to be
  • Also his abilities leave much to be desired. Lets spice them up
  • His Passive... Instead of floating shields maybe the shield can open up into a bit more of an intricate looking shield and glow (similar to what Leona did in the cinematic). Hey, everyone loves continuity between champions from the same region. Perfect huh?
  • His Q... Make him look like he's throwing the spear with much more force. Like he's beaming it at his opponent
  • His W... Not much I can think of here, I say make it clear that he's bashing with his shield
  • His E... He just flicks his wrist -___-... yea lets make this ability look vicious. Have his whole arm thrust lightning fast. Think maybe E. Honda?
  • His R... Similar to his DS skin, Make him have a cool looking charge, then an even cooler blast off, and of course, a badass landing

Their are a lot more champions right now more deserving of an update.

Ironstyles said something to the effect that when the time comes Diana will serve as the baseline for all the Targon champs, which is good, referencing the work of a man like the jackbutt who wrote 300 is morally pretty questionable, now that Holy Terror exists,

I'd like to see him done, but as IronStylus has said recently they need to solidify Targon first. I'm looking forward to seeing how they will make him distinct from a normal spartan, though. He feels like he could be one of the archetypal warriors in league of legends, I think he is very much deserving of a VU at some point. I made an attempt at him myself way back for anyone interested.

I'll add this. Pantheon does deserve a badass VU. He needs to represent the theme he was created from; a badass Spartan.

Would make him awesome if he borrowed some abilities from other champions like Azir's ult in which Pantheon could thrust his shield increasing his Armor or gaining a shield, creating an obstacle and pushing back anything in front of him while dealing some slight damage. He could also borrow Tryndamere's ult or Aatrox's ult in which he gains a short buff in either damage, attack speed, health, armor & magic resist, or drastically increase his health regen for a short duration making him temporarily OP.

I came here to say I totally agree with Steve Blum voicing Panth; this is made better since Leona is voiced by Wendee Lee.
