Seriously, if you're trying too hard to make all the bios look flashy, we'll settle for some text-only htmls. Anything's better than what you're giving us: a big fat NOTHING.

We're looking to do a test run on the system this week by publishing the Azir and Xerath stories. They're not examples of the new bio format, but it's just a way to get any kinks out of the new tools we're using.

I honestly feels like there needs to be a post on what in the world happened that delayed everything by 10+ months. Everything you guys said around Azir's release made it sound like you had fully scoped and implemented your solution for getting these larger lore articles out, and that you ran into a bug at the last minute before going live. Well, considering it's 10 months after the fact, I can't help but feel like the "technical issue" was either a problem with scoping or a problem trying to rush a solution out before it was ready.

Sharjo2 votesOne of many issues, but translation actually creeps in more than you would think. I mean that's why VO gets shafted for champion VUs more so than other elements; got a shit ton of languages to record that in.

Retillin1 votesSo... why not just release long bios on the forums instead of waiting 10+ months? A simple sticky in Story & Art and you are done. This would have zero problems do to system. A simple copy and paste and you are done. (But Riot doesn't bother to do this with their posts on Reddit so I don't know why they would do the 10 seconds of work to do this)

Darrosh Jewfist4 votes10 months probably isn't text issues. I imagine they're probably going through extensive fine tuning on lore for consistency and probably to ensure it's a huge blowout when they update the lore so people go 'ooooo so dis is wat they've been doing!'
That's stupid, but I imagine that's seems to me the only plausible reason why they're holding out so long. Narrative seems pretty dedicated to not just divorcing gameplay and lore - but shifting bios off client and removing almost any sort of indication of text/reading just off the game itself.

Solideus1 votesThey did with the Azir and Xerath bio's, and I assume they simply didn't find it successful enough to merit doing it that way. It makes sense to deliver the whole package instead of pieces of it, after all.
