What would happen if a conflict started between the undead and the void?

We know for now that Mordekaiser is planning to take back his territory, but if he succeeds (i doubt he will since LOL universe is quite static and no one will really lose territory) ,can void creatures be raised to undeath?

As long as the void can't corrput the undead then the undead will win.

You can't brute force down the undead because well... they can't be killed and Mordekaisers army consists of elite soldiers.

If Mordekaisers army works like Yoricks "army" then they can't even be captured anywhere, they would just kill themselfes off.

Though you have to specify which undead you are talking about. Mordekaiser magic or black mist magic? Pretty sure the mist would ravage the void while Mordekaiser needs to kill off the creatures he wants to reanimate.

Coming back to your question, if the life of void creatures (single being with a "soul" and mind) is similar to the ones in runeterra then Morde can reanimate them.

If for some reason void creatures obey a mastermind and have no thought themselfes then I think they will just be empty corpses upon death. Though that is highly unlikely seeing stuff like Kog'Maw and Vel'Koz.

Thats what I think anyway

prolly depends on physical or spiritual undead. Zombies, skelemans and the likes have a physical body that can be corrupted/consumed so those would stand as much of a chance as the living.

Spiritual undead are a different case, idk exactly how they work in league's lore. MF seemed to be capable of holding them at bay, but her guns are hextech so that might have something to do with it.

The undead would win against the Voidborn, since the Voidborn are susceptible to necromantic magic.

They'd struggle immensely or lose outright against a Watcher, especially if there were more of them.

Amumu would win, he is undead and kills everything near him... so, it would be hard for the Voidborns to... uhhh... "kill" him?

What? You didnt said that it was the Shadow Isles vs Void.

Maybe the undead would win initially, due to being impossible to kill, but eventually they would figure it out and adapt. Vel Koz's entire purpose is to collect scientific information and such to understand how their magic works. Once they do that, the undead is meaningless against them.

Void would win. If it was the entirety of the void vs the entirety of shadow isles.

It would make for a markedly poor plot to have the major threat to an entire world able to be defeated by a fraction of that world.

The Voidborn are made out of living matter from Runeterra. It stands to reason that they could be killed and raised as undead by the Mist (or Mordekaiser).

In an all-out war, though, I think that the undead would only win if the Mist had already spread over all of Runeterra.

If a Void rift opened in the Shadow Isles, they'd probably deal with it quickly.
