That explains why Demacia is so closed to Trade (well that and since its self sufficient), trade would also bring in spies.

If the shoe fits then they need to do what Bilgewater and Zaun did and get a new foot.

I'm just saying, Demacia isn't like the Void; it's a human kingdom that strives for virtue, honor and good but is also horribly tyrannical. If Demacia is a place with nothing unique and cool to root for, why is it even in the lore?

Good point but jokes aside, I find Demacia/champions to be soooo boring lore wise. They all feel so cliché with the Fiora having the slightly interesting back story of where she had a death match with her father. But then she ruins it with her in game lines and personality for me. Camille finally added something fresh to the Piltover champions after a long time. Personally, I can't stand any of their champions except for Ezreal.

Yeah. That's why I'm hoping they get some love, if we're being honest here. The champions in need of an update are very boring.

Poppy, Taric and Fiora all have some fantastic character lore after their updates (Poppy in particular is great), but then I compare them to Shyvana, Garen or even Jarvan and it's just... so boring. Garen's entire lore revolves around his "totally antagonistic" relationship to one of his enemies (granted, Garen x Kata OTP, but still). Shyvana's part of Demacia, but only as an afterthought; I've seen hints that Jarvan's having a secret affair with her or something, but nothing canon.

And Jarvan? His backstory can be summed up as "everything cool happened off-screen".

There's a stark contrast between the old lore and the newer lore, and it gets more and more glaring as time goes on. Noxus remains one of the coolest kids on the block (primarily because they're an imperialist/expansionist empire and as such EVERYONE has good reason to be afraid of them) but their supposed nemesis is almost hilariously shit in comparison.

I don't hate Noxus, not at all. But Demacia's need for new lore to liven them up is, imho, much more dire.

But did they, yes the warmason that got kicked out can still remake the maps if she survives but what makes you think that Colette got in? Gysbert went in after the first girl, and only said he hadn't seen her. Tamara assumed that Colette made it in when she could have been picked up and taken away before Gysbert ever went outside.

In the terms of D&D, I see Demacia as Lawful, not Good. Demacia prides itself on law and order and obedience to those laws. Nothing in their dogma specifically states that they strive for overarching good.

Garen seems to adhere to justice and righteousness, but again, this is lawful, and even such virtues can be manipulated to darker purposes. We don't actually know or have a reference for what is considered good and vile in Demacia, other than their willingness to kill Taric after he left his post that resulted in the death of some soldiers - a simple mistake, but by no means should it have incurred a death penalty.

What we also know that Demacians view Noxians as evil, but we also know that Demacia is steeped in xenophobia due to their self isolation from other nations. These are very self centered views of the world, and while based in safety and order, can also breed contempt.

So in closing, Demacia definitely needs some love - but like Piltover, I want to see the dark underside of Demacia that uses law and order and martial law for control, manipulation, and power struggles, just like I want to see brighter and happier characters emerge from the city of merit, Noxus. Piltover and Zaun are by far the best representations in this game of the light and dark present on both cities. We have youthful adventurers like Ekko and Janna coming from the Baron controlled, scientifically insane streets of Zaun, while we also have characters like Camille who use an iron fist and manipulations to keep Piltover in functioning order.
