The New Poppy Rework is visually stunning

Her new abilities look just as fun. Thematically though, it's not Poppy, it's Tristana with a hammer, she has no more grit, determination and seriousness about her, shes just another cutesy, aloof yordle.

This new Poppy will be a great champion, but it does not fill the shoes or improve upon what Poppy was, it's something else entirely it's not bad, it's just not Poppy. Honestly it feels more like Amy from Sonic the Hedgehog. I love Sonic, you love Sonic, we all fucking love Sonic. But that was not what Poppy was about.

Look I don't want new 'Poppy' to be removed, by all means keep this new champ she's great, but don't call her Poppy, because she's nothing like Poppy.

Although I agree in that the original hard and dry Poppy has been lost, I actually think the change in her personality is a net gain for the game.

I like the actual Poppy, but it is no secret that she is a foreigner of her own faction. She just doesn't feel like a Yordle.

The new personality fits way better on the overall thematic of Bandle City.

She looked terrible before and her mechanics in gameplay was late game cancer but her personality and theme was unique to yordles, so I feel in that respect yordles, especially female yordles have lost diversity which seems like a loss to me.

Thematically Bandle is a zany place, they need to add a bit more zeal to poppy to bring her in line with that, but now her uncertainty feels just as out of place. Poppy was a very determined character, it just needed a bit more crazy.

Hammer diplomacy was a joke, it means violent negotiation which of course is not negotiation ergo the joke. Now she actually doesn't have jokes, because she can't remember how to tell them, because she's cute and uncertain now. Deadpan humor was her thing, like Veigars dark humor.

I don't see ditzy. I just see awkward and not the most social, hence forgetting her jokes because she doesn't say them often.

If anything, Heimerdinger is ditzy.
