What's the Watchers objective and why?

It's been a thought that I have had when reading about the Void.

Why do the Watchers want Runeterra (Possibly the universe) to be consumed?

I searched for this answer online and not finding any success. The only answer I did get was in Necrit video in which he just said "They didn't like Runeterra." I take Necrit theories with a grain of salt.

It's hard to really pinpoint this objective since you would have to ask the Watchers themselves.

Are they simply jealous that they weren't given life in their universe? Do they think that everything should cease to exist like how the universe was before? Do they just wanna expand and consume? Do they wanna take over the universe and cease it for themselves?

What's everyone's thoughts? I would like to hear them.

Basically "i think therefore I am" works with the Watchers. And they don't want to be.

Watchers exist in a empty nothingness, dreaming peacefully and not even aware of consciousness. This "void" they lived in was basically the opposite of existence. Unexistance. But here comes along the plane of existance in which all of Runeterra's universe resides, and it scrapes against the Void. It forces the Watchers to acknowledge this alien plane's existance. They suddenly they thought and therefore were. And they can't stand this. They want to return to that nonexisting state of unconciousness. So they have to unmake Runeterra's universe.

All they know is nothing, the Void was devoid of heat and time did not pass there, but when they found out there's other stuff (aka reality) out there it disoriented them so they're kinda doing whats' natural to them by destroying it. They may even be afraid.

So number 2: They do think that everything should cease to exist like how the universe was before
