Lol, Idk why you guys are getting so hyped for. You don't even know what's going to happen to the Story of league so don't think everything is going to be patched up. And no his entrace does not mean that the IoW and Summoners are coming back.
I suspect that McNeill's hiring means nothing more than the waste of his talents. The guy's a good writer, but I doubt he'll be doing anything other than writing a paragraph or two per new/updated champion, maybe a mini-comic or short cinematic if the narrative team feels like doing something interesting (yet bland and uninformative).

Had to look him up. He definitely has the chops to do something good, if he's given the reins to do it. The question is, what's his role? Is he just an external "consultant"? Then things may not change too much. Will he be leading the whole Narrative charge with the actual power to speak to the community and put stuff out? Then hell yeah.
