Battlecast vs Project

So I sense this theme coming up, with one more additional project skin that Riot might be hiding (Project/creator Jayce perhaps?).

It would fit in the sense of the Viktor/Jayce rivalry as well as being a really cool epic event.

In fact, they are too busy fighting against each other.

And if you compare the buildings used on the Battlecast line with the ones in the Project "Trailer" you will notice that they are very different.

I think the PROJECT: Overdrive video took place in a future version of Zaun. While it was very advanced, it still had that dark, dreary, cold feel to it. Whereas Battlecast Cho'Gath appears to be attacking a future version of Piltover.

Jayce is the creator of the fullmetal skin line. That creepy old scientist is seemingly the one who made the project skin line,I doubt that it is even in the same "skin-universe" as the battlecast line.

What is known about the battlecast universe? Just the champs and that Viktor is the leader.

The Fullmetal line could just be a seperate skin universe than the project one, just like pentakill and arcade (Sona).

Additionally the old scientist was trying to destroy project yi, so I doubt he is the creator of the project line

I think Jayce being the Creator of the PROJECTS is pretty ingenious, but an actual connection between the two universes is unlikely.

Its more likely that PROJECT skins are Ionian in Origin, a Dystopian Ionia which probably was never freed from Noxian Occupation.

Much more Piltoverian in my opinion; if they were Ionian why Leona/Fiora/Lucian? Plus, the city screams corporate cyberpunk, which is way more in line with Piltover/Zaun than anything Ionian or Noxian.

There are asian looking letters scattered all across the skyline. It could just well be Ionia. Ionia if it stayed unocuppied would have never went the massive industrial and technological advance, but with Noxus / Zaun on their backs, it could just as well have happened. Not everything that looks modern and futuristic should be Piltover and Zaun right from the get go, remember this is an alternate future, anything goes.

I'm thinking more along the lines of either Viktor (but he has the battlecasts so i dunno) or Professor Stanwick (the guy who took credit from Viktor for the creation of blitzcrank or something)
