Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't like the update. But seeing how it is December and everyone takes a break on the holidays, I'm afraid of going through a couple of weeks with little lore and only reading a "coming soon" on Vi or Caitlyn's story profile in the Piltover page.
Will we have Piltover finished before the holidays and start Zaun right after?
The stories will likely all come out before the holidays. The question is if they continue with zaun already before the end of the year.
I mean it was said that WWs teaser will come out next year,so he'll likely won't be in the patch after camille,so there is a chance that we won't see the zaun-lore until WWs rework gets announced,but it is also possible that they give us a few of them already before that(depending on how much they actually have)
The fact that they even started this before the holidays implies it's gonna be finished before the holidays.
Given that there's five champs to go through they could do a bio a day this week, one every two days, or in sets like Cait/Vi, Ori, Ez/Jayce. They could pace it however they like, but either way since they put out the stories last week, the bios coming out this week seems reasonable to me.
Wasn't there some pretty heavy hinting that Jhin, Zed, Shen, TF, and Graves were all going to have some business in Zaun last year?
If that's still on the table I suspect that it'll be going live with Wolfy's update next year. Because that sounds like Large Story sort of scale.
I don't expect Riot to go on break till the week of the 19th. I don't know what day that week specifcally (I usually use PBE updates or lack thereof as a sign that they're on break) That's 2 weeks from now, plenty of time to release the Piltover content. It's only 5 champs (6 including Cami), it's not like Shurima where there was 9 champs. Now if there's some extra, big story involving the Piltover champs planned (think Bloodlines for Shurima), then we probably won't be getting that until after the break.
As for Zaun, yeah they're likely waiting for the Warwick. Unless it's a Targon/Taric situation where they did the region update before the rework was released.
