Please say Leona will have her lore expanded at some point

My theory on how things could go:

After being trained by the Solari, Leona is sent on a pilgrimage as a way to give her some worldly experience. When Diana awakens and murders the Elders, though, Leona returns upon sensing something amiss, and finds the chaos Diana has created (with Diana herself long gone). Leona goes back out to find Diana, hoping to bring her back peacefully.

Said search will have Leona cross paths with certain other Champions (hint hint), and learn a few... unsettling things about the Solari order that the Elders didn't tell her.

Bring Diana back what? Make her solari again? Witness the murder she commit? You're unclear about that. Diana :Down with the sun. The night shall rule.

Even Leona would be a bit unsure about what would be done after Diana is brought back to Mount Targon. It's just she can't let Diana run loose as a killer.

I honestly don't consider her a killer....completely. She killed in revenge for them locking her up and possibly torturing her for accepting the moon instead of the sun. What they did was unfair. The lore ends with her moving on. Not to murder more, but collect apostles of the moon. Could she possibly find and kill solari apostles, yes, but if they are smart enough, they would see the moon icon on her armor and head and realize she could kill them if they admit to it.

I think the issue was that Diana didn't have to KILL the Elders over their whole "YOU HERETIC!" bullcrap (maybe she could've just wounded them without taking their lives). But she did, and killed far more than what was necessary for self-defense.

If she didn't, the next apostle of the solari that discovered the lunari would also be tortured imprisoned and killed.

The solari now try to kill Diana anyway,because she killed their elders,so where'd be the big difference?

Uhm first of all,she didn't kill for revenge,but out of self defense(they wanted to kill her for wearing the armor of the lunari).

And her lore outright says that Diana now on "a dark crusade" and that she "presents her foes with a terrible ultimatum: revere the moon's light, or die by her crescent blade." Meaning that she is pretty much doing the exact same thing that was done to her,she kills those who don't want to accept the moon.

Its kinda symbolic since she reflects the cruelty that was done to her,just like the moon reflects the light of the sun.

We are talking of a different dimension. Maybe in this dimension the moon doesn't reflect sunlight, but purifies it into a gentler force that doesn't burn and blind.

Even then it doesn't change the fact that her lore outright says that Diana is on a dark crusade against the solari and that she kills those who are unwilling to convert to the lunari. Meaning diana is pretty much doing what has been done to her.

Why would leona need to search the world for diana? Dianas targets(the solari) are at mt.targon,so there is no real need for diana to travel the world,she would stay close to mt.targon anyway.

To find recruits? She wouldn't have much luck recruiting Rakkorians, seeing as the remaining Solari would declare her a wanted murderer.

No, she just wants to kill Solari adherents, not convert them. Leona might be the only exception.

pls read her lore before you downvote me-.- Taken directly out of Dianas lore: "She now presents her foes with a terrible ultimatum: revere the moon's light, or die by her crescent blade." So yeah she gives the solari the choice to convert to the moon.
