The demon Lux fought in "For Demacia" is Nocturne, right?
All about darkness, possesses people, gives people nightmares, etc. It's gotta be Nocturne in some shape or form.
Confirm or deny, Riot?

“Is he gone, the nightmare-man?” “I think so,” she said, feeling the bitter taste of dark power diminish. “For now at least. I think maybe it’s not in the tomb anymore, but it’s gone from here. That’s what’s important right now.”
The demon isn't destroyed at the end of the story, only banished. Now it's lurking out in the wilderness somewhere, in its true form. It would make perfect sense for this to be Nocturne's origin story.
At the very least it seems like an entity that functions very similarly to Nocturne, with perhaps the same origins?
Or Nocturne could be one of the nightmares that the demon created. I mean Nocturnes altered lore turns him from a summoner-hater to someone who hates mages. So it would make sense for Nocturne to be the nightmare of a demacian mage,as their biggest fears are the people who see mages as monsters.
As a Nocturne main I can tell you it is Nocturne 100% because of this part of the story,
Dyan’s last words were all but lost in the roars of approval coming from the crowd, but Lux finally pieced them together as Garen’s sword swept down.
The light is fading... (This is a quote Nocturne says in game) (http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Nocturne/Quotes)
“Wait!” she cried.
The light is fading line was probably the best indicator that it was indeed Nocturne.
