Maybe in Runeterra when we are playing, all the champions we summon are all long dead and our summoners just conjure them back from the beyond for perverse amusement. Or maybe they all got sent into an everlasting battlefield after they died.

How could Aatrox or Kindred be dead? (I believe Aatrox is just the embodiment of war, which is there, as long as there is conflict. With the Summoners Rift around, how couldn't there be any conflicts? I may stretching it here a little far)
