It seemed to me like Xerath was pretty impossible to kill, but I'm gonna guess that Riot will just go "nope, he can die, but only to very specific means".

Though I will probably argue that Aurelion Sol is unkillable, or at least won't STAY dead for long even if you do destroy him. Why? He's a Star Dragon, that's why! [slayer-jinx-wink]

EDIT: Actually, only exception to this rule would be Kindred, because how do you kill death as a CONCEPT? But to counterbalance it, in League's story, they'd have no physical form.

Yes, technically Olaf is 100% Unkillable, but he will die eventually... due age.

And Zilean cant die as well.

Who says that Zilean can't be simply killed? He survived in his tower,because no one bothered to attack him,so while he might not be able to die due to old age,it is likely possible to kill him(even if you have to do it multiple times xD)

Immortality isn't always absolute.

Sometimes it just means "can not die due to old age(maybe not even illness),but can be killed"

But there's a difference between "immortality" and "invincibility". Immortality means you can't die of disease/old age/etc., whereas invisibility means you can't be killed or even wounded in some cases.

It's more like Olaf won't die. That's a little different than Olaf can't die.

He's not suicidal in the traditional sense. He's supposed to be looking for a certain kind of death. He's just destined not to find it. Of course, the bones also could just be wrong and there's nothing special about him outside of being a strong fighter.

They even have an interesting talk with each other, when Wolf asks what would happen at the end, and if Lamb would give him the chase, and Lamb tells him that "She would never run from him, dear Wolf", so that confirms that they are not eternal, unless their power is greater than they know.

The thing is that Kindred is not a corporeal being, but more of an ideal that's just given a physical shape for gameplay. I imagine in-universe, Kindred would never appear as a physical being.

As you say, Kindred represents the end of life.

Once there is no more life to be ended, Kindred will simply cease to be.

But there is difference between Nasus and Xerath? Right? Nasus can die with age, can Xerath die too in this way? He doesn't even have physical form, he doesn't bleed, he doesn't have organs like Nasus does.

I know he is not eternal, but doesn't it mean he is immortal until he gets killed?

He didn't die while he was without sunlight for 1000 years. Also Renekton didn't. I don't think they're related with Sun anymore. Actually, Renekton got more powerful with darkness and rage.

I'm saying he'd die along with everything else on the earth when the sun goes from red giant-- the earth's atmosphere is burned away, oceans boiled out and crust made into soup-- to dwarf star, where the the earth will permanently become as cold and void of life as mars is now.

I think he can leave Runeterra whenever he wants. Even though, he carries the power of sun in himself. I'm not sure if sun can burn him.

Xerath's Ascension was just overcharged, it says he bathed in the sunlight for longer than he was supposed to, which is probably what made him so powerful. The same principles should apply to him that apply to the other Ascended. In the Bloodline story, he felt pain from Nasus. Xerath seems to be the strongest ascended, unless Azir is just ridiculous., but he isn't invincible.

None of other Ascended were powerful as much as Xerath in their human life, all of them were without magical powers. Xerath not only had magical powers, also he was one of the greatest mages on Runeterra in its time and master of dark magic. Even story says he combined his magical powers with long Ascension. That's why he is overwhelmingly powerful compare to other Ascended.

It's speculated Kindred will die at the end of time, when life itself will cease to exist and death too. Kindred is a concept and that concept will be extenguished. The last they will take will probably be themselves.

Wrong.

Wolf chase those who refuse death.

Lamb puts to rest who do.

Wolf: "...would you run from me?"

Lamb: "I'd never run from you, dearest Wolf."

In other words, in the end, Lamb accepts her fate and would not allow Wolf his chase, thus keeping Wolf at bay from her end.

Which means, she would "suicide" and Wolf would chase himself by going crazy and self-destructing.

I think the better question is, can Wolf kill himself? Or will he chase his tail alone for an eternity in darkness until the cycle begins anew. At which point he would be the one singular death chasing and hunting the primordial life of the universe but ever lonely. However once sentient life begins to pop up (and die) wolf is faced with life that does not run from death (and wolf only chases). This leads to wolf feeling lonely and so he takes an axe and splits himself in half. So he will always have a friend.

From what I remember of their VO Lamb knows everything and wolf knows very little. I imagine that after an eternity of waiting Wolf Wisens and eventually grows into the pale man who takes care of death in the primordial universe. Eventually the Pale Man can no longer endure his loneliness and splits himself in two so he will always have a friend.

The split of the Pale Man is the death and birth of kindred.

The sad part is that wolf always waits in the dark alone for an eternity [zombie-nunu-tears]

Kindred can't die. I saw someone say that Kindred dies if all life stops existing, but that's not correct. They wouldn't die, they would just be alone for all eternity. Also, Kindred would never allow that since Kindred controls who dies.

While Kindred can't die as they are the manifestation of death, I assume they will eventually stop existing once the heat death of the Universe Runeterra's in occurs, as they say it themselves, everything has an end.

Aurelion Sol can die, it's just that Star Dragons have extremely, extremely long lives.

The Ascended have been described as also having incredibly long lifespans so they can serve Shurima for centuries, but they're mortal, just long living and hard to kill.

There is the potential for all the aspects to be deemed immortal. But that is more avataresque.

Below are the ones I find to be immortal. Not invulnerable.. but immortal.

Bard Soraka's description says she was a celestial being, but gave up the immortality due to WW. Bard is a celestial being, and most likely has that immortality.
