Is the Walrus from the Walrus and the Carpenter story in Alice in Wonderland the inspiration for Tahm Kench?

I think Tahm Kench is based off the concept of a new orlean deciption of the devil. A suave dressed man, sometimes woman, who promises riches, power, etc only to turn said deal upon his head on a later date.
