Uh, Warwick tried to take her heart at the behest of his friend Singed and she kicked his ass.
Warwick is now arch-enemies with Singed in his newly rebooted lore and doesn't even know Soraka so uhhhhhhh

They're prbly going to touch her lore up in the Ionia lore update
She is a celestial being that descended from Mount Targon and from their she probably ran off to Ionia. We don't know when she came to Runeterra, or why. We don't even know what exactly she is, as the term 'celestial' could be used loosely. None of her old lore is canon, atm.
