Kled just confirmed that Aatrox is a demon in runterran terms...... I don't like this really. I figured the Darkin to be a distinctive unique race and yet Riot has decided to jsut lump them in with the demons. That also mean's we'll never fidn the other darkin because it's easy to just make another demon and have people speculate it's darkin. idk guys, i'm not digging this.
I wouldn't take Kled's view on the matter as being textbook. Darkin are their own thing.

I don't think that this is actually that big a deal. There was only 1 Darkin. That was Aatrox. There have been no more since. Retconning him to be some demon, or hell, even voidborn would pull him more into the League universe rather than leaving him floating off in his own little special snowflake vignette that doesn't particularly hold with the direction that the lore has turned since his creation.
