Remember also that poppies are the symbol of fallen soldiers in several countries, including Canada, where they are worn in the month of November. So poppies in a field of soldiers is symbolic in itself.

Are those soldiers in formation, or statues in a monument?

I can't seem to figure it out yet; if they are soldiers why are they all standing still while a yordle is casually strolling amongst their ranks WHILE they are doing an excersize? Or are they lining up for her to inspect them? Why would they O_o?

Is that a monument to fallen heroes or something? What kind of monument has ranks lined up like that?
