Why Does Urf Kench Not Have a Unique Passive Icon?

Title says it all. Why not have it be an Urf image or something since Master Chef gets a lobster icon?

Hey UltimoMark3 -

Master Chef Tahm Kench was a 975 RP skin, as opposed to Urf Kench, which s a 750 RP skin. In this case, we felt that the base decals were appropriate for Urf Kench, which is why they aren't unique.

We did something similar with Braum Lionheart - he is also a 750 RP skin who uses the base decal because we felt it didn't clash with the skin.

That said, if something clashes terribly (Warden Nautilus and base shield particles), we will make what we call quality of life particle changes to make the skin more cohesive.

Hey Katey sorry to hijack a thread but I haven't seen any other Rioters around to ask. I've been wondering something I've seen several others ask, what has happened to the champ ban information from the Riot API during the last few patches? It doesn't seem to be available. I don't suppose you have the time to ask someone?

Hey Cyrus,

When the new champ select was released there were a couple improvements that needed to be made, I've included the list below but you can find the original list here.

Chroma and ward skin selection
Skin purchase in champ select
Hiding pick intent
More forgiving dodge timers
Properly reporting bans to match history

As you can see some of these things are quite important to the overall experience for players and as such they were prioritized over fixing the ban information. The fix for ban info went out six days ago, and we made a tweet on the @RiotGamesAPI twitter account. Many of the community sites that use this information take a couple days to aggregate the data so everything should return to normal shortly.

Seeing as we're on the topic of icon particles; may I have your thoughts on why Shockblade Zed's ult's "target is dead" indicator the same as his classic skin, when it's in the same tier of skin that can have particle changes?

Normally, I wouldn't even ask (since some particle effects are shared across skins for the sake of clarity), but since Project Zed has a custom particle, why doesn't Shockblade Zed?

An argument of "It's just because it's an old skin" would be understandable, were it not for the fact that when the "X" marker was added to his ult, it was red on both Shockblade and Classic, but was quickly changed to be blue on Shockblade. How come the same treatment was not given to the kill indicator after it was added?

Poking this again! Based on your feedback, and others, we've swapped the decal on this skin to be the same as Master Chef Tahm Kench to better match the Urf Kench thematic. :D

Omg, this idea is amazing :D

What if spatula become the new unique icon passive and the skin's cost grows to 975RP? I think it'd be more appreciated by community. I personally would prefer to spend more 225RP and have a very great skin instead of save them and have the same icon of Master Chef.
