So... Who is holding back the imprisoned champions?

So as we all know, Summoners and the Institute of War no longer exist, however there are some champions being imprisoned in there by summoners, which begs the question. Who is holding them all back from doing whatever they want to do?

Said Champions are:

These champions were held back from causing mayhem because the Summoners interfered, but now that they don't exist, what or who is preventing them now? I think with the Ascension update they fixed Renekton (don't quote me on that) but that still leaves 5 other evils mucking about. Any guesses?

Technically, Brand is dead...Killed by the Demacian forces.

No one is quite sure how Brand found his way to Valoran, but he began his predations at once. Overcome by Demacian forces, he was given a choice: fight within the confines of the League or die. Naturally, he chose to use his destructive powers in the League, for now...

Narrative bullshit is how Runeterra still exists.

There's no other explanation besides everyone has plot armor and the world itself is plot armored so badly not even Mecha Malphite can drill through it.

I believe a Red post a while back said that they're uncaged now, just sort of rampaging about the world.

Fiddlesticks wasn't really imprisoned was he? I mean, all he did was stand in the East Wing of the IoW waiting for something to come.

They aren't hold back,but obviously they can't rampage around without getting killed by the other champs.

Kassadin is holding back Cho/Kog. Fiddlesticks is only the harbinger of doom, not doom itself. Nocturne is happily living in dreamland.

Part of the reaso, they changed the lore this way, was so that they don't have to imprison those characters anymore.

They can have them defeated in the lore, but still appear in the game.

Well, Malzahar would be looking after Kog'Maw. Nocturne would probably never have gotten caught inside a nexus and would have continued roaming the edge of people's minds, perhaps in a far-away village or at a temple or something. Fiddlesticks could remain in his tower, it's just the location of the tower would change (perhaps part of Noxus's capital or something?). Brand and Cho'Gath though, I'm not sure. Having Brand killed by the Demacians simply doesn't work and turning Cho'Gath into nothing more than a hungry animal (like Kha, Kog and Rek) would be absolutely awful.

Isn't Fiddle's entire story that he was called accidentally into the IoW by a Summoner trying to call an extraplanar creature? Since summoners and the IoW no longer exist, one could debate that Fiddlesticks was never made/called at all. In his new lore they'll probably just make him from the Shadow Isles or some crap, and say he's a scarecrow from a spooky island there that guards haunted corn.
