How much of LOL is inspired by outside sources?

This is something I'm curious about. I'm not just talking about the Takili (crimson Akali) skin either. Since there's nothing new under the sun, usually good design comes down to finding the right combination of sources to be inspired from. So what do you all think some of riots inspirations were?

For instance here's some of my guesses = xenomorph meets scyther = hentai with lazers = barbarian cowgirl on a pig = star trek BSDM fantasies = cybrog frankenstien's monster = private joke to make fun of aquaman by showing how he could have been useful if he had real skills/powers = tomb raider batman = female midget conan the barbarian
