I would like to say that it looks like a 1820 RP skin, i mean im kinda disappointed/... no malice intended but it is not Ultimate tier.
if its an ultimate skin shouldnt it include more stuff? why be lazy about it?

look i agree it was a great move by riot and i appreciate it, but still it is costing 3250 RP!! it has to have more stuff to it you know?

And what about all the champs who have "Legendary" skins that are nothing more than a simple 750 skin like Twisted Fate or Annie? Those skins have literally no particle effect changes, recalls or even good splashes.

if i remember correctly those skins have been removed from the store to the legacy vault or had their price dropped, i have alot of the old legendary skins too and i agree they need a total rework. and they probably will after their rework as riot said (nunu, chogath, mundo, tryn etc)
but still all im saying and i hope im wrong (and that the sfx visuals are not final), is that it should have more things to it, maybe a different set of ultimate skill shot>? or some laser beaming i dont know..
were talking about 30$ Skin tier.

You can make all the outward changes you can, but that still won't change how old it is at it's core. It won't have all the modern stuff unless you remake it. There's only so much they can do to improve PFE without completely remaking it.
Sukishoo2 votesYeah, they'd need to rip it apart and start over from the bottom up in order to make it the current quality of an Ultimate skin and Riot had even said when they update him that it wouldn't have that kind of update. This is more of a polish to bring him up in some areas so that it feels a little better compared to newer skins.
I think they did a good job with that :)

However, i kinda agree that Riot should make more Summoner icons for the Ultimate Skill (In comparison Udyr has 4)... maybe add all the skills of PFE as summoner icons, not just his ult.

I would add all 4 Ezreal forms as icons, not just one of them.

You're right, the changes might not be enough to convince someone who doesn't own the skin to fork out $25 for it. But for those who have it, it's a very welcome change.

I think they did a nice job bringing the quality up to at least a legendary tier, cause if they really were going to bring it to the Ultimate tier it'd need a full make over. They'd have to spend even more time into it. We got 6 months or so of work on it since they made the Ask Riot about it so I think it came out great.

They dont need to remodel everything but they could add some more stuff, i dont really expected to be as good as say, sona or lux ultimates, but come on, homeguard animation? few laser beams addition? 2-3 ult shooting styles? they just basically updated the model and particles and made a voice over thats it...
Sukishoo2 votesThey added a new Recall, re-used the old recall for a teleport animation, updated voice over which requires the Voice Actor to be available and come back in (in this case BOTH voice actors), updated visual effects, updated basic attack animations, updated textures for all 4 forms.
That's a lot of work to put into an already existing skin. Plus the new icon that you get for getting the skin (or already owning it)
The skin used to be of Ultimate Tier quality back when it came out as it was the first of it's kind, so of course as time went by it didn't hold up as far since Ezreal is a much much older champion. They did what they could without having to devote a full team into it for like 2 years to really get it up to quality. It would need a new model, akin to what Ryze got in his update inorder for them to really give it the push to a current Ultimate status standard.
Wrathof3001 votesThey aren't being lazy, they are putting effort into something they didn't want to do. It is just a texture update, done probably because of the countless posts made about updating PFE when the PFC was teased. PFE will be 'updated' when ez gets a VGU in the distant future.
