The targon champs are channeling. Aspects of great. Power. Illoia is a bearer of a gods will/power, and I tho k janna has been retconed into a winf spirit from the cliff face that piltover and zaun are built into.
Are there religions in runeterra though? Does Demacia and Noxus have national religions? Organized church orders? Lucian could easily be a member of exorcist like clergy from a demcian church task with destroying undead
Epicurus4 votesThere are some in Zaun-Piltover who revere the "Grey Lady" (and that's NOT Camille). There are also a bunch of traditions, like leaving all the windows open on Progress Day.

and her tribe follow the "Great Weaver". Other tribes likely have their own faiths.
Ancient Shurimans worshipped the sun, which may indicate a link between Shurima and Targon. There is still sun-worship in modern Shurima, but it may not be the most prominent religion anymore.
Noxus has an order known as the "Tallymen of Kindred", though wether they view Kindred as the Lamb and Wolf or some other form is unknown.

Demacia's cultural psychopomp is the "Velied Lady", referenced by Lucian in Shadow and Fortune.

The Solari faith is dominant in Targon, and the Lunari have been wiped out.

Wrathof3003 votesCamille is referred to, as the Gray lady all over the place, and she is 90 years old. The gray lady they worship might as well have been inspired by her. The cult refers to themselves as the glorious evolved, majority of them are Viktor's patients.
Chembaron Yamada1 votesThis. Camille is probably the furthest augmented person in Piltover right now (along with Viktor himself) and walking in these streets for a damn long time, it's plausible that they took inspiration from her when the myth of the Gray Lady was born.
The glorious evolved are not the only ones talking about the Gray Lady. Remember the short story from Evelynn where she is in Zaun making a deal with a baron? She reveals that one of the murders the baron thought she executed was actually the work of her assassin rival and she calls her the Gray Lady.
In my opinion, people in the past saw Camille and imagined her as a higher being, giving her the name Gray Lady. The myth probably lived and like every myth, they made more out of her than she actually was. So the Gray Lady they imagine nowadays is some kind of goddess, while the origin was simply an augmented woman.

However your comment as an idea could be interesting for when Talon or ~~Nocturnal ~~ Nocturne's lore is updated.

You can't be serious right? Elder Scrolls Online is ongoing and the newest expansion Morrowind is coming this summer, and they also announced bigger-scale expansions until they cover up all the remaining Tamriel
