Just DELETE Soraka already if you hate her so much

After groaning through the last terrible patch with merely two skins, one of which for Xin Zhao of all things (like who the hell plays him anymore), I was waiting to see if in the new batch I would receive a chroma or SOMETHING for Soraka.

The skins made me groan again apart from the one for Renekton because who the HELL plays Kog'maw or even Alistar now. I regularly hover at Diamond on average and let me tell you, it's been a very, very long time since those two were picked and remotely successful.

At the least, I speculated there would be Chromas. I was bracing so eagerly for SOMETHING for Soraka here and instead I was greeted to Chromas for Alistar (who's getting a skin already in the same patch), GNAR, MAOKAI (HOW MANY SKINS HAS THIS GUY RECEIVED BACK TO BACK ON TOP OF BUFFS), AND AMUMU! ALL HORRIBLE CHAMPION PICKS AND UNPOPULAR.

At this point I'm just convinced Riot hates Soraka and no matter what people say, I'm not gonna believe otherwise. Just to spite everyone, I'm not gonna stop playing her and I honestly think the only way Riot can make me stop is to delete her from the game. Might as well since with the neglect this is what ie leans toward.

I don't think Riot hates Soraka. They either don't have a skin idea that is solid enough, or they're developing one right now.

For example, everyone wanted a Zac skin. Specifically Pool Party. By the time Riot was able to actually make PP Zac, they couldn't release it until the following year. They finished it in Fall, but had to wait in Summer because that's when Pool Party skins are released.

Sometimes, it's just patience. Some skin ideas or variants they do are just able to stick more than others.

After all, people swore that Riot hated Zyra, but she just got a skin.

Wtf are you talking about. Soraka has gotten tons and tons of skins way more recently than other champions. Reaper? Order of the Banana? Program? Meanwhile Cassie, Yorick, Poppy, etc....

I'm sorry, Maokai isn't a horrible pick I was just really agitated there.

Soraka's most recent skin was her Program one, which came out in last April (so about a year ago). She isn't hated by Riot; she has 7 skins right now, with Reaper being seasonal. With Warwick's rework, I wouldn't be surprised if Soraka will be getting a lore update sometime, and who knows - she might get a skin sometime soon when that happens. Soraka has gotten consecutive skins every year since 2013 (Celestine - 2013, Reaper - 2014, Banana - 2015, Program - 2016), with three of them being around March/April.

Amumu might not be popular in high elo, but he has a 6.62% playrate in Bronze and a 5.36% playrate in Silver, which the majority of players are. I don't really think it's fair to diss on Amumu since he hasn't gotten a skin in a long time, he has about the same amount as Soraka (8), 4 of which are seasonal (and to be blunt, 2 of his skins are practically chromas anyways). Alistar is in a similiar boat as Amumu - they're a bit more popular in lower elo play than higher elo right now (though, unlike Amumu, Alistair has seen significant pro play before)... And besides, Amumu and Blitzcrank's Sewn Chaos skins have been scrapped and it's hard to say if they'll ever be released later on.

You're complaining that Xin Zhao got chromas, but honestly? The other champion getting a skin? Oh. Yeah. Zyra? That's her first skin in three years. She has 3 others, one that is seasonal. Zac has two, and a pack of chromas. Yorick has two skins and hasn't gotten a new one since 2011, and Urgot is in a similiar boat as Yorick. Blitzcrank, now that he isn't getting that skin, last skin came out in 2015 - of the seven he has, 3 are legacy. Blitzcrank also has a pretty decent playrate - it ranges from 19.19% (Bronze) to 13.60% at the lowest (plat+), which is considerably higher than any of Soraka's playrates of the same category, if "popular vs unpopular" is really the comparison you want to make.

I'd love to get another Soraka skin soon, but Riot far from hates her.
