For a world that is predominantly filled with humans, we have no idea where they came from. Most stories either rely on a religious, magical, or scientific explanation for humans. I assume that humans have a magical origin. I also think that Valoran might be the root continent.
Humans are an ancient alien race from a far away planet called Earth. After destoying their planet with cursed hextech artifacts, they decided to conquer other planets.
So, they arrived in a magical planet ruled by small magical creatures with tails called "Yordles". Since their tails were so tasty, the humans began to hunt those creatures until they evolved in order to get rid of their tails... However, due the prolonged consuming of Yordle Tails... they forgot everything about their homeplanet. Now the Yordles Protect the Mothership of the Human Race, because if a human sees that thing, they all will remember their origins as earthlings and will destroy Runeterra with the Cursed Hextech.
Ok here goes :
First there were Vrykul.A half giant race.Some kind of curse was cast on them that caused their children to be born weak and small.
Now king Ymiron would order everyone to kill those weak and small babies,but some vrykul decided to protect and raise them.
And that's how humans came to be.
