I'm not going to hold my breath. Just because you have a well-regarded writer on staff, doesn't mean the company is going to start producing anytime soon, Soon™ or ever.
he's going to join and never be heard from again like the rest of lore.
However Decrit, you have to think: Maybe he still has to follow Narrative's boring way of lore. Maybe a great writer but, If he has to follow that lame scheme of writing too it won't matter
I don't know anything about Warhammer 40k, nor this guy, so I have no idea what he'd bring. I just hope he's aware of--and more importantly, understands--the situation between Narrative and the lore community.
good addition, faster working, more Lore
Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k franchise has an extensive amount of background information and details. That said, a lot of the more recent codexes and materials have dealt less with worldbuilding details and has been extremely more character focused. In that sense, Graham would be a good fit with the narrative team's current mission statement of more character focus.
Of course, seeing how Graham works in what is essentially a universe with no major ongoing conflicts, very little in the way of champion inter-connections, and some champions being completely isolated from another... that'd be interesting.
I could go on and rant about the current state of Warhammer 40k lore and how it's heavily Spice Mereens focused but I won't. Warhammer 40k has it's own share of problems - I think the most significant for us would be the over-emphasis on one particular segment of the universe (probably Champions) which causes the rest of the universe to seem stupid, stagnant, or plain unnecessary without.
So he just started working for them, which means we have to wait and see what he does.
Only difference is now we have seasoned writers being locked away without hearing a single word from for years at a time.
I think he'll be a great addition to LOL lore. I eagerly away to see what he's got in store for us.
Steel Legion canon storyline, get hyped.
