Elementalist Lux - What would you guys like to know more about?

I know it's a skin and hence a parallel universe, I just really like the concept of Elementalist Lux. She's an older and more mature Lux whose probably been through a whole lot of shit to get to her status as Queen. So I'm curious - when you see Elementalist Lux what in particular stands out to you that makes you wonder? What do you want to know about, what's something that really makes you see her as interesting? I mean for me it's the fact that she has ten personalities and can still stay sane, it makes me wonder how she got all her 'forms' in the first place and manages to keep them in balance.

Just wanted to ask about this, I really love the skin so I'm wondering what other people think of it lore-wise.

I don't really interpret it as ten distinct characters or anything; I mean, I've certainly felt all those different ways at different times. I always felt the thematic was more about finding out which side of yourself is your "true" self. They're different personalities in the same way any person acts differently based on their environment--you don't act the same around your friends and your parents, right? Same general idea, although that example is kind of weak to be honest, haha. My question is, are you sure she's able to keep those forms in balance? Would she even want to? Light and Dark seem diametrically opposed, but is it really impossible for a person to stand for what each of them represents?

I'm generally more interested in "what it all means" more so than the literal details of what her powers are and how she got them. To me, she could just have studied for a very, very long time and I could live with that. Not that I don't think those details can be really interesting and cool! She's a warrior queen; a ruler from the front lines, so to speak (probably actually fighting in the back, as you'd expect of Lux). Is she of nobility, or was she chosen to be queen? Are her powers related to being the queen, or are they just unique to her? We already know that the "elements" are a major thing in her world (The Light Within is about her kingdom being overcome by elemental beasts!).

Of all the champions and skins, she's probably my favorite character. She's just fascinating.

Honestly I first thought that the skin was a future version of Lux. One that has mastered magic and has build a whole kingdom about it. And I know we almost know nothing about that world but It would be pretty nice if we got some info for it even better some other skins from that world. Where magic is everywhere running free.

To be honest, my biggest question regarding Elementalist Lux is why they wasted a concept by giving this to her. I don't mean that Elementalist Lux is a wasted concept, but Lux could get a skin where she switched between the colors that compose light demonstrating supreme mastery over light itself, and then give the elementalist skin to another mage that uses neutral magic and also could use a legendary skin.

Elementalist Ryze, Xerath or Syndra

With that out of the way, I love the elementalist thematic and always wondered what she had to go though to control all those elements, I was really intrigued about how that situation she was in the teaser happened, and how she became queen without being part of the royal family. Also how she mixed elements got me thinking about how magic works in Runeterra, but the one thing that intrigues me the most is why she isn't using earth magic. I do remember reading about Riot not liking the earth thematic for her, but it makes me wonder if earth magic is specially complex or something, what would also give more value to Taliyah

As a more visual question, I still don't get why the darkness form is purple instead of black/grey/purple

To the question of how she keeps her personalities balanced, I think that its because those aren't new personalities, but fragments of her own personality, always hidden in the shadows due to her need to live in demacia and hide what she really is, or at least that's how i like to think about it.

I actually wrote a fanfic based on the tiny piece of Elementalist lore we have (The Light Within). The story is kinda my theory of how everything in that alternate universe works. Since Riot I believe has said it's an alternate universe, I even included some League champs (with some changes of course).

But basically, my theory is most people in this alternate universe have an affinity for a particular element. Lux originally had an affinity for light, but as time went on she developed the ability to control the other 4 basic elements (fire, air, water, earth). As for changing forms - I think that's Lux altering her core affinity to the selected element (and final form would be adding in a second one).

I may be completely wrong here, but that's my guess. And hopefully something I said helps!

It's an odd skin to me in that the Crownguards aren't royalty.

So her status as queen is farce unless it takes place in a different universe where she's the daughter of one of the Jarvan's or she's ruling an entirely different kingdom, which narratively isn't ideal.

I enjoy the skin, it's cosplay-ie and cute. But as for relating to any actual lore it's moot. (Does Ele. Lux even have ANY quotes about being a queen?) That is the ONE place GG MF beat Ele. Lux. You can tell she's this Space Bounty Hunter Renegade with a clear backstory and connection to her skin (and A.I) Ele. Lux has none of that but design wise and hollistically.

I'd like to see an expansion on her actual supposed status as Queen of a kingdom. Because the skin sure as hell fails at it. Instead presenting us with a quirky girl in 10 different outfts.
