I'm sadly really disappointed in the newly released Eve bio and short story. Her bio was super short, didn't tell us much except for mostly stuff we already knew through voice lines or rioter comments, and her short story leads itself up to be exciting or maybe about Vayne's parents, and then ends before anything happens at all. =( As a lore junkie, I'm really unsatisfied and disappointed after looking forward to this.
I liked it, personally, just because of how it expands on Demons. We'd known that they needed a contract, yes, but it gives more detail on what is necessary for it. It gives us insight on how the demons came to be, which could be very important in the long run. The most important thing to me, however, is that it shows that Eve isn't perfect. She didn't come into being knowing how to seduce people and lure them in, like Zyra did. She had to go through trial and error, spending weeks perfecting the tactics to get her prey. I like that, as usually demons are shown as powerful creatures that now how to do everything right from the get-go. Here it shows that the demons are still a bit human, needing time to work on things before being good at them.
I didn't really like the short story, but that was because the last bit made me really uncomfortable.
Was really hoping the dapper man was going to be TF and a fight would break out or something, but it was just a man who got fucked and by fucked most likely massacred.
as i pointed out in another topic as well the only new piece of interesting information i managed to see in her update was
"Perhaps, at any moment, the thrill from her last victim might wear off, leaving only the nothingness—that utterly empty space inside her where feelings should be"
this says a lot about her! that she has a weakness and there is something she is afraid of too. other than that and what Midnight oil24 said, i agree with you.
The bio was incredible. It was really good despite its length.
However, the short story brought nothing new to the table. Had it been about Eve killing Vayne's parents, I think it would have been a lot more excited.

To be utterly honest, when a character gets changed from 'expensive assassin for hire' to 'ancient inhuman force of evil' you're moving from something pretty easy to write stories about to something more suited to writing stories that include it. Sadly, I was more or less expecting 'Yep, she's a demon' to be her new lore with some purple prose tossed in for fluff.
I'm pretty sure it ended where it did so there wasn't an incredibly violent death scene

Riot has been updating a lot of lore recently so HOPEFULLY that's not true! :D
