Thoughts about Urgot (ramblings)

A former Noxian Headsman, Urgot used to think he knew what strength was. Then he was betrayed by Swain and found himself bound in chains, a slave in Zaun’s mines. There, he discovered a new form of strength: pain. He revels in the chaos of suffering, knowing that it makes him strong. Now—his body augmented with machinery—he knows that Noxus can never truly be ruled by strength while it is ruled at all. He seeks to destroy the leaders of Zaun, and preaches to those who survive: there are no rulers, only survivors.

Gonna ignore how he somehow managed to escape Noxus. His stories will show another side of Swain and also a more darker side of Noxus which will be pretty cool.

It is hard to say what his ultimate goal is. Maybe he has no ill-will to Noxus but now has a new philosophy on life and is striving to make Zaun be like that. It is also the perfect place where he can teach and stuff. Although Noxus has its lows and highs the imbalance is not as explicit in Piltover and Zaun.

Seems like he's become some sort of model for sump scraps or those down in the dumps at Zaun. Urgot can probably sympathize with those people surviving everyday. It is pretty clear that he is not thinking too much on what happens after though aside from chaos. I'm not sure about the number of lunatic crazies living in Zaun but I can imagine there are quite a few. I can also imagine them listening to Urgot and seeing him as a leader or enabler for the ultimate goal of chaos and stuff.

He has an emphasis on survival being a virtue which is kind of weird. Survival is something that goes on when there's challenges and stuff but afterwards what do yah do? A common answer is prosper and stuff but Urgot seems mostly about survival here. Noxus history is all about survival in how people banded together to take down Mordekaiser so it's strange. Seems like a different way of seeing Darius's philosophies on strength except with no order and a ton of chaos. Gonna need more information before really understanding what kind of person Urgot is.

Urgot seems to be to Zaun/Noxus (or anywhere really) as Bane is to Gotham City... but maybe far more twisted. I'm thinking if Jinx and Thresh had a child, it would be Urgot. And maybe his uncle was Karthas with the whole preaching to survivors thing.

He just brings existentialistic ideas to hardcore extreme. You would not understand meaning of life untill you had to survive.

Also: Deny power as concept @ Start crushing those who in power @ People start gathering around you @ You are in power @ ????? @ Profit

So anyone else think it's a little odd that Mr "Existence is torment" got changed into a survivalist?
