Is Warwick going to get a new main (and Tundra hunter) splash art with his rework?

I'm just curious because these two splash arts weren't updated that long ago. Because these VGUs tend to drastically alter the character in some way, new splash arts are made to better reflect that image. But these were made before his rework, which makes me wonder if the new Warwick will still have the same basic design (with the gold claw gloves and collar) but on a newer and more animated model.

Granted they can probably change minor details like they did with Shen's, but are these splashes going to change or do they give us insight into what the final product is meant to look like?

All I know is that I just got Feral Warwick in a chest and am super psyched for his rework.

It is very, very unlikely that Tundra Hunter will see any form of update. His main Splash-art may doubtfully see a full update, although it may also just receive adjustments. It depends on the final direction they take the champion.

Very likely, I'd say, because currently it represents the skin's model, which is basically a Chroma, in modern terms, of Warwick's classic skin. As with Taric and Ryze's updates, "recolors"/"Chroma skins" are given unique, new themes, so Warwick's new Tundra Hunter model will likely need to reflect that.

Unless, of course, they'll stick with the current design of the skin (with classic Warwick being different). But I don't see that happening. I also expect them to slightly change Warwick's base proportions, though, so that could affect other skins' proportions and require them to create a new Tundra Hunter splash.

Anyways, I can see them keeping the composition and/or the current background, which won't require them to completely remake the splash. :P

If you look on the new universe page, they have shown some concept art for the new warwick, and it looks quite a bit different so yes.

Just look to Tristana as an example. They gave her a new splash a few months before her full VGU and just adjusted it to match her new model. You can expect the same thing here, I think.

Most likely, given how rescent updates have been where champions have gotten new splash arts, and this is a Full Relaunch we are talking about.
