I've thought about champion friendships, and realized that there is a lot of logic to some of them

Annie Amumu : Annie is a girl who wants a playmate who doesn't break. Amumu's a physically hardy character, so that helps in his case. She is incredibly strong as a pyromancer, and her potential is still untapped. Due to this magical potential, Annie is one of the few beings who can actually approach Amumu without being harmed by his curse. In gameplay, they work together extremely well. Nocturne Shaco Fiddlesticks They all have a thing for terrifying and murdering people. They are essentially a demented black comedy troupe. Nocturne is the deadpan serious straight man, Shaco's the wise guy ringleader, and Fiddlesticks is the dumb comic relief. Renekton Cassiopeia Aside from being the reptilian youngest siblings in their respective families, they do play off each other. Cass is the subtle manipulative sweet talker who doesn't have to raise her voice, while Renekton is the belligerent rageaholic who has no indoor voice. It's possible that Cass is able to calm and charm Renekton through her words alone.

I've got a couple myself, but one in particular I like to think about:

Galio Poppy now a lot of people might yell at me here specifically because of old Poppy lore vs new Poppy lore, but I feel like the new Poppy actually would have a stronger friendship with Galio than her old self would've. I mean consider the fact that Poppy is almost certainly older than Galio now and how they have similar goals; Demacia's protection and preservation, and it stands to reason that they'd get along really well and not just from a chance encounter either.

I like to imagine that Poppy and Galio met during or a bit after Durand died (though I personally prefer them meeting during, because I feel it'd add even more to this relationship), and that they helped to console one another; Poppy helped Galio overcome his own self doubts and strive to pursue his own goals while Galio helped Poppy with her confidence and pushed her to keep going with her goal of finding the hero of Demacia. From there they bid each other farewell but would run in to each other every now and again, sometimes decades after having last seen one another, where they'd exchange stories and just chat as old friends do.

Also as a note, I really wanna see Galio and Poppy duke it out with Sion. I feel like that'd be sodding awesome. In my mind it was Sion that caused Durand's end as he brought his gargoyles to bear against the unstoppable undead behemoth, but that's just me.

One friendship that bothers me cause of how out of nowhere it feels is MonkeyKing and Ahri. There is multiple things Riot could do with this yet there is nothing aside from their champ info pages saying they are friends. I believe a large part of the problem is how little there is to Wukong's lore and what we do have is mostly altered bits from Journey to the west. They do work well together, but I think that can be said about almost any champ and MonkeyKing or Ahri.

Blitzcrank is friends with Orianna and Viktor but those two are rivals. Blitzcrank's Dating service is not working.

All void champions are friends of each other. They excluded RekSai . meninism?

Lulu and Veigar we need more evil yordles.

Zac and Twitch are almost like that raccoon and groot.
