New Project Skins Are...

a little disappointing to be honest. Now don't get me wrong, Project Ashe is worth it and so is Project Ekko, Project Kata not so much, but they are missing something. DECENT RECALLS!!!

What the hell Riot...you give us good project skins but completely cheap out on the recalls. All three recalls have the champs do nothing for three seconds (almost). This is definitely worst for Project Ashe which is Legendary, but lacks the recall it deserves. Compare these to one of my favorite recalls in the game, Spirit Fire Brand, and you can really see how the new project ones kinda suck. I hope that they improve on them before the are released.

Overall, Project Ashe is cool, along with Project Ekko (which I like the most); however, Project Katarina seems lame to me. I don't think it's on the 1350 level at all. Although my own personal feelings toward Katarina might be clouding my judgment. Katarina has never felt good to play and I think it's due to how her abilities feel. She just feels like you're swinging in the air and not hitting anything. This is in contrast to, someone like Sion. When I hit a full Q as Sion, I fucking hit a Q, and katarina lacks that feeling.

The Project skins all have a brief period during their recalls where they pose because they are supposed to have synchronized recalls, think of it like a "Power Rangers" thing where they all pose together before transporting back to base. It's something that they highlighted with the last project skins in their gameplay teaser. It looks cooler when you have 2 skins porting back together like Leona and Lucian or Zed and Fiora.

But I will agree that the Katarina skin feels a little lackluster.

I disagree about recalls. They are much cooler compared to the old project skins. The old project skins just wave their weapons around while the new ones have some effects added.
