So what can we expect from the Bilgewater update?

I know there's going to be a new map, and updated lore. But, should we expect anything else with the update?

Gangplank and Miss Fortune updates, a full visual and gameplay update for GP and a small scale VU and some kit work for her.

Probably some stuff relating to Nautilus, Twisted Fate, Graves, Fizz and maybe Nami since they're all Bilgewater nationals in some way (I know, Nami isn't but she honestly just fits in to this event considering Bilgewater's themes), at worst being the short paragraphs to summarise them, at best something big.

Hopefully the tech issues fixed and some cool lore stuff aside.

Likely a promo, maybe a video or something else, look back at the Freljord, Shadow Isles and Shurima events for some reference as to what we might see.

Some Bilgewater/sea themed skins and summoner icons.

Perhaps a progression style thing as we saw in the Shurima patch with the icon, or maybe some collective event like the Pool Party event we just had. This one's me just spitballing though.

That's probably what we can expect. I personally expect updated VO for Graves, but that's just me.

^Yup this is a pretty good idea of what to expect with some of it more certain than others.

As for what the event is specifically about & how it impacts Valoran is something we see when the event gets rolling.I'm guessing 5.14 would be the patch the event takes place.

We might get updated VOs for Graves, Gangplank, MF and TF. All the OG Bilgewater residents.

Renek and Cass got updated VOs iirc for the Shurima update.

Updates for MF & GP.

Probably some lore in the scope of the Shurima event for establishing Bligewater as a setting.

I bet will have a chance to buy the Bilgewater Crest as an Icon, just like they did for Shurima and Shadow Isles.

we can expect Riot to try to pass off Gangplank's new lore as a lore event so that they can say "hey, we did lore progression! Now we don't have to do shit until next year's lore event!"
