Could the darkin be fallen angels?

So one of the more common theories is that is a darkin somehow,especially now that Aatrox talks about Morganas bound flesh(mirroring the darkin) and to be honest,I was never a fan of this theory,because it would either mean that: A:Kayle is a darkin as well or B:Kayle isn't Morganas sister.

However there is one line in Aatroxs new VO,that actually adds a different solution here: "We had another name once... Now, we are Darkin."

According to this line the darkin all used to be something else in the past,they weren't born as Darkin,they became Darkin,which begs the question: What were they originally?

And I think they might have been angels. I mean the darkin are based on classical demons and at least some of the most well known demons are fallen angels(new aatrox really feels like LoLs version of Satan). So it is entirely possible that Morgana was born as an angel and later became a darkin.

This would also fit to some extend with the lores of the Kayle and Morgana. I mean sure sometimes Riot completely rewrites the lores of characters,but most often they try to keep some themes and elements intact(Nautilus was still left behind,Fizzs home still got destroyed,etc.). Morgana in her original lore fought a war against Kayles faction and fought for the cause of the summoners to gain their support against Kayle,though this became kinda moot when Kayle did a deal with the summoners herself.

Now you can pretty much just replace the summoners with the shurimans and it would line up pretty well with Aatroxs new short bio,especially since Aatrox talks about how Kayle is not worthy of ascension,implying that there is a connection there as well(so Kayles faction might have convinced the shurimans to turn against the darkin,even if they did not participate in the war themselves). And as a bonus point,this would also keep the otherworldlyness of Kayle and Morgana without really adding another world,as the darkin homeworld would also be the homeworld of the angels.
