Yes, we saw it was a teaser for a stylish new champ, it was an opportunity for Riot to show off some great artwork, but in the end what are the in-world consequences? Are they permanently dead, or are they going to be fine? Will there be a lore event explaining why they came back to life or are we just going to assume nothing really happened?

A rioter mentioned that these champs were picked mostly based on how artistic it would look like if they were killed.Jhin is aware of the existence of these champs and this is simply how he imagines their deaths.
Krizalid2 votesNothing, absolutely nothing happened to them. That was just a teaser to create a hype, that's all. Also, it would be lame as hell to kill those characters just because there's a new character who is, let's be honest, less interesting than them.
