Zaun lacks women!

A discussion in a recent thread made me aware of this problem. Out of 12 Zaunite champions, just 2 are female!

Female Zaunites Janna Jinx

Male Zaunites Blitzcrank DrMundo Ekko Singed Twitch Warwick Viktor Urgot Zac Ziggs

Just 1/6 of the champion roster from Zaun are female! This is the lowest women quota of any region in the game except the void (which just has Rek'Sai). And while these 2 females are really fine (one being perfect girlfriend material, the other is a friendly wind spirit), I think we could do something about this.

And so it's time again to make suggestion what kind of female Zaunites could be explored by Riot!

Yandere / Psychotic Obsession Urgot got his rework and his story is telling us he is testing people about their worth. And it seems that he created an own cult, the Sons of Ur. I could imagine a young girl got tested by him and survived, then she became a Daughter of Ur. And maybe she became obsessed with Urgot over the years. She could be a cruel assassin with chemtech chainsaws, trying to make Urgot senpai noticing her. It could fill another trope we are currently lacking in the champion pool: the gross girl.

A female that is not beautiful, not even average looking, but obviously gross. Having chemtech tubes, replacing her flesh with metal and that stuff. Of course, the person of interest doesn't have to be Urgot, but could be another champion or even side character in the lore. This story was just what came into my mind for that psychotic assassin lady.

Medic In my opinion, it was great to see a friendly side of Zaun when Ekko was released. It was showing us that there are indeed people living in the slums, who want to make Zaun a better place to live in for everyone.

Then we know that the Zaun Grey is causing many medical problems down there. I thought it could be interesting to have a medic champion from Zaun, who tries to find solutions for these diseases, without requiring the ill person to replace their bodyparts with augmentations. She could have a rivalry with Singed, since she sees him as the most responsible for these problems.

Chembaroness Every now and then, we get a new champion who kills Chembarons, even if their reasoning might differ. Camille Warwick Urgot

Urgot was initially investigated as a possible chembaron champion, since we could really use one. But it made more sense for him to be that idealistic anarchist, which resulted in this trope still not being filled yet. So, why not making the first chembaroness of the game?

She could be an elegant mafia boss, or a chemtechdriven monstrosity filling the gross girl trope. There are different approaches for her thematic, but I think a chembaroness would be worth investigating one way or another.

The next female character from Zaun should be a monster of sort. Chemically altered from unknown test subjects, in the similar vein as Warwick, but more "complete" so no water pump on the back or anything, and they will be a savage monster, an augmented savage monster of a killing machine.

It will be like the hound of the Chembaron, unleashed to "get things done", like a good hunting dog.

They will be given a feminine name, which is either their true name, a nickname, or an alias, whatever the case that's the name the Chembarons will call them by, which may hint that initially the monster may even originally have been a female human, which is almost unrecognisable in her current monstrous and inhuman appearance.

It will be a fighter champion, who relies on the tools embedded into their body that will stick out and flay around in the moment of attack. Like a chainsaw sticking out from her stomach or something, before retracting it once they're done.

And due to this kind of "fighting style", her spells also cost HP.

Baron Voss would be an interesting champion. She's the Baron(ess) who owned the mine where Urgot was imprisoned, and all we know about her is that she's a sadist. Urgot has personal reasons to want her dead, and (assuming she's still alive) she knows that Urgot will be gunning for her. She lost a lot of wealth and reputation in the breakout, so to what lengths would she go to win back her power?

This would be a mix of the first and last options.

On the downside, Voss is obviously a villain, and Zaun already has a lot of villains.

Technically ZAC and Blitzcrank are genderless... so,

Female: Janna Jinx

Genderless: Blitzcrank Zac

Male: Ekko Singed Twitch Urgot Viktor Ziggs Warwick

BUT!

Urgot is from Noxus, Ziggs from Bandle and Vi from Zaun... So, the real list is:

Female: Janna Jinx Vi

Genderless: Blitzcrank Zac

Male: Ekko Singed Twitch Viktor Warwick

So, Zaun lacks of genderless champions, not women... We need more genderless Zaunite Champions, i suggest a robot dragon.

Kinda fitting is the fact that Piltover is one of the few(if not the only one) city states who has more female champs than male ones Heimerdinger Jayce Ezreal

Though if Corki gets retconned into a piltovian yordle(which his lore already suggests,though the universe page still lists him as a bandle city yordle) then it'll be even.

I think the medic archetype, maybe give her some heals that require the other player to stand still next to them for a few seconds, acting more like a battlefield surgeon more than your typical "magic it away" type of healer that you see in game, and maybe give the heal some minor buffs for a few seconds afterwards too. She could also use anesthetics for slows, throw small chemical vials for poke, and maybe even have some augments herself for self defense, after all, Zaun is a dangerous place, and you can't really make a living down there defenseless. Just some ideas.

Oriana is technically a Zaun champion over a Piltover one.
