Your story just got removed.
And you're supposed to show no emotions and remain completely unbiased whilst all of this is happening.

Just because something is not in the core bio does not mean it didn't happen... it's just not particularly core to who Shen is. There are probably a hundred tales of him doing stuff like this.
We're making the lore more consistent in style, for all champions. The bios are for context on their life, and where they fit into the world. The key beats that define him and his outlook on the Kinkou's future are more important to communicate at the top level. We can always tell stories about the legendary actions they've taken, in ACTUAL stories. :-)
Yeah, I found it strange that they didn't mention any of his battles or journey in the spirit realm. He is suppose to be keeping balance between the 2 realms.
Most likely because they just didn't want to make his lore too long.
