The Riven one looks amazing!!! It looks like new animations as well so it's legendary styled as well? AAAAAAA

Editors note: All skins that riot make are amazing. But this took a left turn for me my god.

Astrologically speaking, when they come out the sun will be entering Cancer.

Coincidence? I don't think so.

EDIT: astrological cancer is between June 22 and July 22. The skins will come out on a Tuesday or Thursday after June 14.

They're coming out on Thursday June 22 I'm calling it now.

This is the one time when you can actually use astrology to predict the future.

Should rename the Yasuo to "Duskbringer" opposite of day is night, opposite of Dawn (Dawnbringer Riven) is Dusk. Would make more sense, and the names kinda flow better starting with D's that way

Velzard of KozJun 1, 20172 votes

They really should've stayed Angelblade and Demonblade. They have blade icons, Yasuo seems demonically and uses fire, the symbol icon uses curvy and sharp opposites for wings that look angelic and demonic. Yasuo even looks a little like something I'd consider satyr would it not be for the legs, having some fur and pointy ears. And missions are about Chaos and Order, literally what Heaven and Hell manifestations are to be by legends. So salty about that unused potential I am turning into Yasuo and Riven main metaphorically.

And people were worried about the new Riven skin looking too much like Championship Riven.

Hi, that was me. Good to see my concerns were for naught.

So can we assume that the mentioned "Angelblade and Demonblade" names in the leak were just codenames for the skins?

ZeanixMay 31, 20172 votes

Most likely then. I do prefer the new names better than Demonblade.

God yes. I thought Angelblade was the dumbest name ever, and Demonblade is the name of Tryndamere's Soul Calibur inspired skin, and it would have pissed me off if they didnt adhere to that thematic.

I like the Angelblade and Demonblade names better. :3 These names sound too similar to names we've had recently for me such as Dawn chaser Sejuani, Cosmic Dusk Xayah, and Cosmic Dawn Rakan. I'm kinda burnt out on the dusk vs dawn theme, so I would prefer the Angel vs Demon names to divert attention away from that as it's making these themes feel too "same-y."

They both look amazing! However, in comparison to Yasuo's skin, Riven's is extremely underwhelming. While Yasuo ACTUALLY looks like a demon (or w/e he's supposed to be) Riven looks nothing like an angel or celestial being. Her "wings" are flaps of cloth... and she looks a lot like her champion skin. Idk, I'm disappointed.

Opposite thought for me, think Rivens looks a lot cooler imo

I got an orgasm due to those two skins.

EDIT: The Yasuo skin looks like Brand X Yasuo.

I know! My favorite part most be Riven's new Q animation with the double swings! (or spins, you get the point) They look and sound soooo goood, I am not the Riven kinda player but that is a great skin!
