Also I heard the new champion will be a fighter, similar to like the style of tekken or other fighting games. Any words of this being true?

I think we'll have a new champion next. It's confirmed that CertainlyT is working on a mage and it will be the next champion release. And since Evelynn was just released, I guess we'll get this new mage next.

Sort of disappointed it's a girl. Not to sound fucked up, but like we have 10 highly mobile female mages its enough......

Mages or not I just don't think another highly mobile female champion is needed. Nidalee

Ahri Akali (her dash is hella broken) Camille Fiora (She is super sticky in fights) Katarina Leblanc Maybe a few more, but Like do we need another...Idk i just feel all the female champions in this game are all one dimensional. Mobile or spammy.

The next new champ was confirmed to be a Mage. We don't, however, know when we will be seeing it exactly, nor do we know when the next champion update (Swain) will arrive (though he is most likely 2018). I'm guessing we'll see the next champion first (sometime in the next two months).

Different teams. And all of these new champions and reworks start months in advance.
