Summery : Revert Galio's personality from "muscle-brain body builder" back to "noble and intelligent guardian".

It's true I wasn't a Galio user (like many people), but even I feel that the changes to Galio went to far. I'm fine with the kit changes, I think you did a good job with them to modernize him while maintaining his spells (QE are on Q, AOE taunt is now mobile and can't be negated by CC, and finally has real mobility that isn't a speed boost). The voice actor you chose I think can be fine with a directional change, it's not his fault you gave him the VO lines you did. The model I wish was more of a gargoyle, but I can live with it.

A number of the VO lines are fine, certain interactions are fine, but the problem is that he went from smart, kind, and noble to brain-damaged boxer that thinks he can fight space and the sun which is (personally) the biggest problem with him now. I strongly feel that if you replaced the muscle-brain lines with ones that actually fit Galio's old personality he would be much more well received by people and would feel more Galio than new a champion you could have released with a different name.

Like I sad at the start, I didn't really ever play Galio. Only times I would was ARAM and URF to be honest. However, I always enjoyed listening to his lines and could relax while feeling like a guardian when playing him because of it.

Well, if we ignore the color story which replaces Poppy's influence on him with Lux (yes. Lux was what stirred his slumber. Not Poppy. Breaks my heart as a Poppy Main), I would assume he doesn't speak with that much intelligence because of his lack of verbal interaction with others. He heard enough to form simple sentences and the like, but he's so dormant and hazy that he doesn't have the capacity to speak as though he has studied literature for a decade or two.

The last Galio followed Durand around which means he had the chance to interact with another for an extended period of time as well as learn and be taught different things. The new Galio doesn't have that luxury. He's usually asleep most of the time. When speaking with Lux, you can tell he's not fully a muscle head. He just doesn't have as much experience with the world. Despite his age, I'd say he has as much education as a 5-7 yr old. That doesn't mean he's brain damaged. He just didn't get the privileged of always being alive.

Every time Lux came by him, he stirred. He could feel her energy, her magic. He felt life and his own consciousness flow through him every time she drew near. Because of her, he got to experience life. As much as he would have loved for her to stay with him, he chose to go back to sleep. He cherished life with all his heart, but he didn't want to nullify Lux's light. The light is what makes her special. It's what makes her her.

I like new Galio if for no other reason than the fact that he enjoys every second he's awake since it's so rare. He's seemingly forever asleep, and--for once in his existence--when he stirred, it wasn't from an enemy he was destined to fight to guard Demacia. It was a spirit down on her luck. One that stirred Galio's heart. While it may be a different situation with a slightly different context, the idea and the core of the interaction was still the same.

Not gonna happen. Do you realize the amount of time they put into the scripts of champions? Getting the actors? and then recording, editing, mixing those in?

His kit wasn't modernized at all. None of these "reworks" have actually modernized the old champions, bar WW. THAT was actually good.

His new Q doesn't slow like his old Q does, and it also doesn't speed up allies. It does damage over time. It only LOOKS like its a combination of his Q and E. Although, to be fair, I think it's a cool, solid ability. Probably the only thing I like about his kit.

Also, I don't think turning a immobile, interruptable taunt into a mobile, uninterruptible taunt is modernizing an ability. I think that's actually just giving it less counterplay, and making it less healthy for the game.

His E WAS mobility. Mobility is things that make you more mobile. Increasing your movement speed makes you run faster, so that counts as mobility. Dashing around is also mobility, too. The difference is that Galio's E no longer makes his allies move faster, so he's less helpful for his team now.

Honestly, the rework is one of the worst I've seen. He doesn't feel like Galio at ALL anymore.
