Lulu's lore could potentionally lose the glade.

A new thing is revealed: Yordle magic. So it can be very easily understood that Lulu's magic is not that of a magical place called the Glade. Where things are considered similar to Wonderland or Gnarnia......Tell me this isn't true. Tell me the glade is still a thing...:/

Depends on what they wanna do with the Fae and the Glade. It's been this weird corner of the lore that only exists for Lulu and Pix, and maybe for Shaco, if you're willing to speculate from "Lulu and Shaco's Quirky Adventure" (I so hope I got that name right). The thing is with yordle magic though is while it means all yordles are naturally magical, it doesn't lock them out of learning from other schools of magic and sorcery, so Lulu's probably gonna keep her fae magic in all its peculiarity. I doubt they're tossing out the Glade.

Mind you I'm of the belief that the Glade's not a part of Runeterra, and is a separate plane or something. That might just be me though.

Perhaps the Glade is where all Yordles finally mastered their inner magical potentials, before that they were sorta unstable like Gnar and Amumu are with their magics. One turns into a giant monster, the other cant stop crying from and makes himself cursed and all that.

Wouldn't mind it that much right now - far too little is known about the Glade to become very attached to it.

It is weirder than Bandle, perhaps purple, and filled with spiritual humanoids with a special magic who lure in unsuspecting children and displace them in time. And, uh, probably Shaco, the murderer? Much like Voodoo lands to Annie, it is exclusive to Lulu, but unlike the Voodoo Lands, it's not even properly anchored in this reality, so it's not like you can compare it to anything, aside from some Celestial bubble, maybe.

I think.

See where I'm going? Everything seems to be something, but in the end, you cannot be sure. Is that really what the Glade is? Maybe not.

Cutting it out right now will mean that only Lulu's lore will suffer. And possibly Shaco's. It won't be that bad, unless you really love that giant bubble of unsuredness.

Now, I hope they will either a) build on it so it becomes more defined, and a good place to comfortably storytell in (maybe do something with that Shaco connection? The celestials? Full Lulu backstory? Anything???) or b) incorporate it into the new Yordle lore and give Lulu some satisfying replacement - what Riot seems to be aiming at right now.

Just make sure to keep her oddball charm!

I'm starting to see Lulu as a druid or Veigar fairy god mother.

I'm a bit concerned about this as well.

With the changes to Poppy, it's sounding like Yordles are fae themselves. Previously they were just small fuzzy people.

Perhaps Yordles are from the glade? Innately magic, long lived, short, sentient, animal like creatures and that avoid humans. Seems pretty fae like to me... although those who meet Poppy don't seem so surprised or see her as unusual. Maybe passage between the Glade and the "real" was more common in the past? Maybe Bandle City was eventually made as a waypoint and settlement for Yordles that wanted to stay? And with enough time and generations, Yordles simply forgot their origins? They know they are from somewhere else but not sure where and somewhere along the line they assumed they were aliens from another planet?

wait did they post the yordle lore change where?

I'd say it is possible that the glade merely allowed lulus inherint powers to awaken. I mean before it never explained why lulu gained magical powers by running around in the glade.
