More stand alone skins and less themed skinlines

Can we PLEASE stop forcing skin THEMES already? Riot has really stepped away from releasing individual skins and it's getting old. Just rehashing the themes of older skins that sold like hotcakes hoping for a repeat. A completely safe and calculated business deal (they even all share the same splash art!).

But I for am growing tired of OMEGA SQUAD/DARKSTAR/STAR GUARDIAN/BATTLECAST/BLOOD MOON/SOUL STEALER ect in every other PBE patch note

back in the older seasons we used to get a lot more varied and interesting skin directions Lil Slugger Trundle,Fiddle me Timbers,Tyrant Swain and Rugged Garen all felt unique and one of a kind either playing to the characters strengths to be more humorous or doubling down and delivering on a theme the character might've not had or lacked beforehand.

now every thing feels part of some "set" where 3~5 champs all share the same splash art. I imagine its done for economic reasons but my god its exhausting to see that every PBE patch has these bundle of champions all trying to hitch a ride off the success of one particular skin idea . A lot of these skins are beginning to feel kind of forced and hackneyed.

Baker Pantheon makes sense and has been a running gag for a while but whats up with the other guys? Satan Teemo is hilarious and awesome but Witch Tristana??? Omega Squad skins finally come but Ziggs is nowhere to be seen and instead what was assumed to be a Yordle exclusive line has Twitch in it.

even the most recent Star Guardian skins are a bit weird for me. Miss Fortune is way too grown to be in High School. Ahri already has an Academy skin along with like 8+ other skins she REALLY was the last female champ that could've used this. Ezreal's skin is just his Debonair skin with the Hair of Elementalist Lightning Lux.

On a unrelated note however I'd like to take the chance to mention

SYNDRA the DARK HOMICIDAL TELEPATH as a STAR GUARDIAN skin? Why was she not an evil witch in ode to Queen Beryl or the Witches of Madoka Magica?

Here's an idea: Syndra ,Leblanc or Lissandra easily could've been the antagonist of the Star Guardians. either a powerful witch or disgraced Star Guardian who now work with the DARKSTAR to take revenge on the stars for the suffering they've been put through or the friends they've lost.

Disagree, I like skin team themes. I just wish the champions were more thought out to make excellent team make ups.

Example battle bosses, 5 ap based champs veigar, brand, zigg, malzahar, blitzcrank. You really can't make that function as nicely as a team like thier arcade counter parts mix could put together.

A shame they haven't added more surprise party skins to go with fiddlesticks and amumu. Could easily add things like nocturne, twitch, Evelynn and other champs.

Again skin themes are nice.

Champion skin/Skin themes/Related by names or lore

There are a lot of themes in the skin department. I don't think there is a shortage of original ideas in Riot's skin creativity.

Usually Themed skins are born after the creation of a Stand Alone Skin... Star Guardian Lux was a Stand Alone skin, Omega Squad Teemo was a stand alone skin, Super Galaxy Rumble was a stand alone skin, Pulse Fire Ezreal was a stand alone Skin... Heck, even Battlecast Xerath was a stand alone skin.

I see nothing wrong with expanding a skin line.

And please... Syndra has only killed one person in the lore, Jinx is waaaaaaaaay worse because she is actually insane. Skin lines do not need to "fit" in the lore of the champions, Gentleman Chogath makes no sense, but he exist... Skins are different to the normal champ.

Also: Fiddle me Timbers is part of the Pirate theme and he wasnt the first one.
