I dunno about the rest of you, but I'd love to see a moment between Lux and Ezreal that matches the above from SAO.
We can't have everything be super dark like the recent Bilgewater event, right? What about some lore events that are more laugh-sided?
EDIT: Please no circlejerk arguments about SAO. I was just using it as an example of comedy.

I don't want any other titles to mimic anything besides the setting from this anime, it would only make it bad.
ForgottenLuck3 votesNow there is no reason to insult the anime especially one that some might find enjoyable its not like it affects you in anyway who watches the show and how popular it becomes. and as for the point of the post I agree it would be enjoyable if we got some lighthearted lore maybe though I personally find these would be shorter and maybe smaller than the Bilgwater event I would like to see some of Cati and Vi or maybe of Ekko and Zil since I find they would have great chemistry

I have issues with SAO the same way I have problems with Skyrim.
They are both incredibly bland, filled with almost 0 content, no innovation and the worst part, not even trying (or gave up somewhere along the development cycle). The only cool aspect about those 2 titles are I guess their concept/setting/scope but even then it's not like those were not used/achieved before, albeit perhaps on lesser scales but executed better.
Shallow and pointless product that got marked success by high popularity solely because of marketing would eventually destroy the industry, which we're already seeing the trend and I personally just hate that, very much.

I don't have problems with romance, humour and stuff like that, I am not a rock after all. But there are definitely better, more meaningful and more creative ways to do things, they just need to try. But yes, comedy is good.
When highly praised creations were a result of low effort production but high budget crowd control, it just grinds my gears.

Tesla Effect1 votesSAO sucked, too much fan service for no god damn reason other than fan service, plot line all over the place, pointless fillers, why da hell did they all relax while they were suppose to get out of the game as soon as they can, why da hell was Kirito so attractive and made a harem, why da hell does his sister fall in love with him and why did we even need that sort of drama when he loved someone else.....disappointing story but nice animation (most of the times).
Overall a mediocre story that a fan could have made better, just like LoLs lore...............oooooooooooooooooh shots fired, jk.

At least Log Horizon was cool until Studio Deen (why change studio though) sorta ruined it in Season 2, but thankfully it was still okay so the overall ride hasn't turned south yet (at least for me).
Hopefully there is a S3 for that anime (with better adaptation ofc).

These days I'm not so sure.
Since Riot has taken to the model of having lore releases few and far between, they kind of have to be serious. They need to be meaningful to the world, and subsequently, less silly.
If we had lore updates every two weeks like we used too then Riot could produce comedic lore for their champions again and have it actually be cannon.
IMO, it kinda feels like Riot's leaning a bit too heavily on it's community to produce funny champion stuff these days. It comes across as lazy.
