The best example I can think think of is told by the cartographer in the Rek'Sai reveal.

Today, the caravan hired teams of Elujrav'i', or "bell riders."

These old men and boys will scout ahead to warn us of any approaching threats. The caravan master also purchased a few dozen Saih'kharash'i, or "sand walkers." These peasants — poor, even by this country’s miserable standards — will trot beside the caravan for their meals. If we find ourselves pursued, we will quickly outpace these unfortunates, leaving them behind as fodder.

Read Xerath 's full story in the website. Azir actually banned slavery in Shurima as his last act before ascending. Too bad everyone who heard was immediately annihilated by a cataclysmic arcane explosion.

I don't think slavery as we commonly know it exists in Valoran apart from Shurima. I mean, there are other less obvious forms of slavery. I don't think labour conditions in Zaun's factories are... how would you call it? Oh yeah humane, yeah thats a good word.

Also Demacia looks like they've got some serious brainwashing going on in their army... look at Lux 's lore.

Ironically Noxus is where slavery is despised the most. I mean making another person do your hard work for you would be a pretty big sign of weakness. Shit, they don't even take prisoners of war. If you surrender against them the'll take it as a sign of weakness and you'll have an axe splitting your head in no time. As for regular prisoners well... welcome to the show Draven .
