So Gangplank has already met Kindred?

I'm simply going off of their taunts, where they poke at the fact that this isn't the first time they've crossed paths. Has Gangplank met Kindred more than once? He more than likely met them during Burning Tides, and I assume that his life has been full of near-misses. This begs the question, has he become so familiar with them he's dulled to their presence, and in turn vice versa? Each encounter is just another "Oh hello, you again?" to the both of them. Another question, is Gangplank a cheater of death? Is Kindred actively hunting them? Would Kindred even care that Gangplank continues to elude them so many, many times?
