A Holiday Question?

So not to be mean or sound unhappy and I don't even know if this is the right forum for this, but how come League only sees Christian holiday skins? Like I'm not against people celebrating their religions and stuff, but I don't see any other religion being represented and for those of us who aren't part of the religion I don't see it as really fair or cool. I'm not saying lets go crazy and drop every religious skin in here, but I mean I don't think any should be in here if only one is.

From what I can tell you don't want to hear what anyone has to say about this and you're focused on your own personal views. As a christian I get the privilege of having my religious holidays globally known around the world (ie. Easter and Christmas) but I would like to share something with you. I hate these holidays and you know why? They do not represent my beliefs. Santa and elves have nothing to do with Jesus and an Easter bunny DEFINITELY doesn't have anything to do with a resurrection. Now I get why you're mad, you want equal religious representation in League, but how can their be when they don't address religion at all. I hate to disappoint you but just because these holidays have religious roots doesn't mean they're seen that way today. MANY people celebrate these days but are not religious and I think you forget about that in your post. If you want all religions to be included you exclude those who don't believe in anything at all, which is a large majority. Riot goes about this appropriately by not addressing it at all. This is a game, not a platform to impose mine or anyone's personal ideals.

Eh, Riot seems to have a fascination with Santa (Santa Gragas, Bad Santa Veiger, Santa Braum). Lately they have just been releasing things like Winter Wonder or Snow Day skins. Santa Braum is quite the surprise considering it has been over four years since they did Veigar.

Maybe if you whine enough it will be another four years before they do it again. ^_^

You my friends are suffering from seeing racism where is none. I'm guessing you are talking about the snowdown skin line, and I'm guessing you are talking more specifically about the ones that have to do with Santa skin which you consider "Christian" despite have nothing to do with it, Santa Claus or whatever name is known locally is recognized globally (even on countries that are not christian) and the snowdown thematic is carried around the world (winter snow, red hats, etc) even if in some countries December is actually summer time. Even japan houses now a days put 'X-mas tree' despite have nothing to do with it. It sells dude, if Hanukkah or whatever other holiday become know globally you can bet they will get skins out of it. If not take for example the Octoberfest, the St. Patrick, Harrowing and the Chinese new year skin lines. All of them are "holidays" of very small regins of the globe but are known globally and thus they have skin lines.

Want more examples? See the sports line section, we have for the Soccer World Cup adn the Olympics (the 2 most seen events) and we have none for the Basketball Finals or the Tennis open since they are not that famous or globally recognized.

Because these things are not religious anymore, Christmas is part of the overall culture of the world at this point. Don't try to find problems where there are none.

It's not like they made a Crucified On The Cross Xerath or something like that.

Christmas as we know it has next to nothing to do with Christianity these days.

It has become it's own cultural thing, separate from religion.

Heck, it has more to do with Coca Cola than Jeebus!
