Is this mentioned somewhere, or maybe I missed it? All of fizz's kind disappeared randomly, and they were known to be shy and not really the exploring type.
Is there a culprit? Did they secretly abandon fizz? So many questions
Well, we know Nami's people are under threat. We also know that Nautilus was dunked below the waves and came back full of darkness and unknowns, so it's possible that there's something in the sea that is dangerous and destructive.
You know that plot where everyone disappears for the day for some reason and the main character can't find them?
That's Fizz.
Honestly at this point I'd say it is likely that they'll retcon his lore anyway. He isn't even listed as a bilgewater champion anymore,so I guess they have likely something else planned for him.
