One thing is clear Riot: You are making this game less appealing with the recent splash changes

The game is Teen+(supposedly) and it's seems with more and more changes, it's slowlying being changed into a pg-13 game. Blood remove from splashes because of what now? Everybody is supposed to look happy now now? Gothic annie can't just look like a mizfit instead of a child playing goth on Halloween.

All I'm saying is, the more you censor the game the less it's going to look like a fight to the death online game. Hell, Graves was the only champ who had tobacco in his ingame model. No reason to take it from the game completely. It's rated T for reasons like tobacco right? If you take blood from in game things next like Darius for example, It's literally not going to make any sense....

You do realize that appealing is an opinion, different people all have different thoughts on the new splash arts? I happen to think 95% of them look waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than our current splash arts. There's 25+ skins i'm going to be purchasing now that the splash arts aren't disgusting.

So a teen game is turning into a PG-13 game? So it's turning into an equally-rated movie? I honestly have no idea what that means.

When they update splash arts, they use up a lot of resources. The Global Splash Update allows to spend less resources and focus on big projects like backdating skin splash arts for champions who got a Visual Update in the past but didn't get new splash arts for their skins (Sion, Singed, Alistar etc...).

The problem with the Global Splash unification however, is that there are some countries who have restrictions on Tobacco and Blood. So Riot has to make sure that all of the splash arts are the same across all regions.

this post by Ququroon might clarify things a lot more: http://boards.pbe.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/client-new-features-feedback/sT9ZIVzT-splashes-unifying-updating-and-you

I agree, I don't understand why they are trying to appeal to the younger crowd. It was to my understanding that 10-15 year olds where generally disliked due to their stereotypical attitudes (not saying all children are like that). Not only is it bringing in the wrong crowd of players, it'll push out more experienced players as the community develops younger attitudes.

Not only is this just simply unfun, it's bad from a business aspect too.

RIP Gragas considering how his entire champion is a perfect model for T-rated games xD He'll be drinking Cool-Aid soon
