I feel like this line from Berserk applies so well to the current League universe

The narrative and story-telling of Berserk and League differ a lot. A common theme in Berserk is the obstacle of fate, predestination and the struggle against that fate. Kento Muira was heavily inspired by the Shakespearean epics so fate plays a lot into his writing. You can easily make connotations to Macbeth especially because of the theme of fate and struggling against it. The world of Berserk is also exceedingly brutal and harsh in nature, and even goes further down that part in it's later parts, with small respites far and few. You could say that the idealisms of Noxus would have been inspired by Berserk, considering how cruel the reality of things are for Noxians. The world of Berserk is governed by fate & predestination, whereas in League it hasn't been established as much, if at all.

League differs because it's far more expansive, and holds far more themes within it's world. It's not nearly as cold and as bleak, there's wondrous things taking place within the world of RuneTerra, but it's not controlled by the ideals of predestination. It's also too early, and much too diverse to apply Void's anaology of the world to something such as League.
