Comparing True Damage Ekko to Project Pyke legendary quality is quite sad

I think True Damage Ekko is one of the best legendaries imo. The quality of the skin is amazing and well done. But compare it to Project Pyke in terms of changes from their base with animations, then it’s quite sad. The inconsistency of the quality of the skin lines is quite annoying. Project skin line this year for me way below par if you compare it to the previous event. We then have True Damage this year and the quality is out of the park.

Yes I get that different designers do different skins and event, but we need better consistency from different teams and actually have feedback taken in.

Not a day goes by where I don't mourn project Pyke for its lost potential

TD Ekko doesn't even have a custom homeguard. He does a jump then goes to the normal animation.

They did the same for SG xayah and Rakan, such potential for legendaries and theyr really just glorified epics. The voices barely change, the animations bascially change the position of theyr feet and add slight more articulation to their limbs. When i think of legendaries i think of a complete re-imagining of a champion in a different universe, preferably not pertaining to a skin line as to show more creative freedom, and pyke just looks like a regualr project skin with a bit more effort put in the abilites than the others released, except maybe Irellia. But with Ekko it looks like they had fun making this skin, though my only criticism is his voice sounding older and takes away the 'punk kid' aesthetic that usually draws people to him. But i do hope they are going to become more consistant with the level of legendaries. But that means the next Ultimate skin better look like a whole new champion, even if its for a basic kit.

Easy solution is just not to give newer champs (Anything after 2016) Legendary skins. With Xayah Pyke Rakan you can barely tell the difference.

TD Ekko does look great. The best? Idk as I prefer non-real world skin themes, but it looks awesome.
